  22. Thank you for trying Holiday Planner for the PalmPilot.
  23.  
  24. Holiday Planner started out life as a simple annual leave tracker, due to
  25. requests from users I have expanded it to a full year planner.
  26.  
  27. I would be grateful for any bug reports, and also any features you think
  28. should be added. Of course, requests from registered users will take 
  29. preference :-) Please send e-mail to the address given at the top of this 
  30. document.

  32. Holiday Planner costs รบ10 GBP to register, and you will receive your registered
  33. version by e-mail (and future upgrades).

  50. When you first run the program on your PalmPilot, it will build a database for 
  51. the current year and display the year as a grid.
  52.  
  53. Tapping on any grid square will set the cursor to that position (shown by a 
  54. dotted square) and display the date for that square at the top of the screen.
  55.  
  56. If you first select the Edit button, tapping on a square will mark that square as 
  57. used, first tap full day, second tap morning, third tap afternoon. Tapping the 
  58. square a fourth time will reset the square not used.
  59.  
  60. The drop down list in the top right of the screen controls the categories of
  61. planner, tapping on this will bring down a drop down list of categories which can
  62. be selected or amended in the normal way.

  64. Configuration Menu Options

  66.  Days Available

  68.   By default the main screen will show the number of days marked in the current
  69.   category/year. If you set this field to a value between 1 & 99 the main screen
  70.   will show the number of days remaining.

  72.  Add To Datebook

  74.   By default marked days are not added to your datebook, if you check this box
  75.   marked days for this category will be added as untimed events into your Datebook.

  79.   By default the on screen year display runs from January to December, you can change
  80.   this by specifying a different start month.

  82.  Weekend Edit

  84.   By default weekend days cannot be marked, you can allow weekends by checking 
  85.   this box. Note: This option is not available for the global category.

  89.   By default the Global category will show through on to all other categories, you
  90.   can change this to another category with this option. Note: This option is not 
  91.   available for the global category.

  93.  NOTE: The configuration is separate for each category, so you can for example
  94.  have one category showing through to the datebook and one not.
